Hog Roast Crosswell – A Reminder That Multi-Day Weddings Are Double The Fun And Double The Feast!

Hog Roast Crosswell Getting married? Best. Day. Ever! But ask any married couple, and they’ll tell you the same thing: it’s over way too fast! From that first sip of champagne in the morning to dancing the night away, the whole day feels like it goes by in the blink of an eye.

That’s why more and more couples are opting for multi-day weddings. And honestly, who can blame them? You get to soak in every magical moment and spend time with the people you love the most—not to mention there’s way more time for fun (and food!).

For Louise and Rob, a two-day wedding was a no-brainer. After moving away from Pembrokeshire for work, they couldn’t wait to return to their hometown to say “I do” and catch up with friends and family they hadn’t seen in ages. And, boy, did they throw one heck of a party! Set in a dreamy countryside venue, their woodland-themed wedding was a dream come true.

Day one kicked off with a super romantic ceremony in a candlelit converted barn that had everyone swooning. Once the vows were sealed with a kiss, it was time to eat—and that’s where we at Hog Roast Crosswell came in.

Our team had been up bright and early preparing the ultimate Alfresco Wedding Menu, starting with stunning charcuterie platters loaded with Italian cured meats, artisanal cheeses, fresh bread, and irresistible olives.

And then came the main: a hog roast so juicy and tender it had the whole room buzzing. With crispy crackling, perfectly seasoned stuffing, applesauce and a choice of irresistible sides it was an absolute hit. We even had BBQ-pulled jackfruit rolls for the vegans, so no one missed out!

The next day, Louise and Rob kept the party going with a more laid-back BBQ feast for 50 of their nearest and dearest. This time, Hog Roast Crosswell prepared handmade burgers, spareribs, chicken kebabs, and more BBQ-pulled jackfruit. Served buffet-style, with sides like pasta salad, coleslaw, and mixed fries, the vibe was super chill and fun.

The feedback from Louise and Rob was overwhelmingly positive. They were thrilled with both the quality of the food and the service provided by Hog Roast Crosswell’s team.

So, if you’re planning a wedding, why not stretch it out? More time to celebrate, more time with loved ones, and of course, more delicious food!
