Fiona has a projector in her living room which make an incredible movie night set-up, so she is often tasked with hosting cinema nights for her friends and family. Everyone gathers in her living room with blankets, pillows, and snacks and gets ready to enjoy a new movie together! For the first cinema night of the year, Fiona wanted to do something different for her guests and chose to provide a delicious menu from Hog Roast Neyland. This would be a great way to prepare for the movie and would give everyone a chance to catch up before getting cosy in the living room. For the menu option, Fiona chose a simplified version of our Gourmet BBQ option, as this is a family-friendly menu with something for everyone to enjoy.
On the day of the movie night, the Hog Roast Neyland team arrived at Fiona’s home and set up our catering station in the kitchen. For the main dishes, we began by preparing succulent pork sausages, juicy British beef burgers, veggie sausages, and halloumi and vegetable skewers. The main dishes were served in fresh bread rolls, alongside a variety of sauces and sides. We also served homemade chips, crunchy coleslaw, and a selection of salad dishes to create a varied and delicious evening meal. Our menu was a great addition to this event and went down a treat before the movie.
