One such unforgettable wedding was that of Anna and Sebastian, who approached us with their celestial-themed vision for their special day. Inspired by the concept “written in the stars,” they wanted to create an enchanting atmosphere that would leave their guests starry-eyed.
The ceremony itself took place in the late afternoon inside a telescope dome, adding an element of celestial wonder to the proceedings. With fairy lights twinkling like distant stars and guests dressed in hues of black, navy, mauve, silver, and gold, the scene was set for a truly magical occasion.
Anna looked every bit the celestial goddess in her dreamy white gown adorned with gold stars, her ethereal cape adding a touch of otherworldly elegance. After exchanging vows in an intimate ceremony, the newlyweds and their guests continued the celebration in the main observatory.
Here, Hog Roast Haverfordwest awaited them with a delicious selection of refreshments and dazzling canapés, including beer-battered mini fish and chips, mini pizzas, mini quiche, an assortment of Indian delicacies, and chicken satay skewers.
For the main course, guests were treated to a sumptuous buffet featuring locally sourced free-range meat options, including spit-roasted hog with crackling, stuffing, and applesauce, as well as whole-roasted turkey with sage butter, stuffing, and cranberry sauce. Vegetarian guests were not forgotten, with grilled vegetable and halloumi skewers providing a delicious alternative.
To accompany the mouthwatering meats, a selection of salads, coleslaw, and buttered new potatoes added depth and flavour to the feast. And for dessert, chocolate tortes and cheesecakes adorned with edible chocolate stars provided a sweet ending.
As the night wore on, guests danced under the starlit sky to the tunes of a live band, mingling and indulging in the delicious fare provided by Hog Roast Haverfordwest. And for those with a penchant for stargazing, an astronomer was on hand to guide them through the mesmerising wonders of the night sky.
